Entry Requirements

Candidates should register for the Certificate, Postgraduate Diploma or MSc.
For Sustainable Aquaculture (by Distance), Aquatic Resource Development (by Distance), and face-to-face Sustainable Aquaculture and all related degree outcomes, applicants must have:
- an Honours degree in an appropriate subject, or an equivalent or professional qualification, from a recognized university or college.
OR - an Ordinary or General degree from a recognised university or college, or an equivalent qualification, with suitable experience in aquaculture and/or fisheries.
OR - extensive experience in aquaculture and/or fisheries.
For Aquatic Veterinary Studies applicants must have:
- a veterinary degree from a recognised university.
For Aquatic Pathobiology applicants must have:
- a good Honours degree in agriculture or an appropriate biological science, or an equivalent qualification, from a recognized university or college.
English Language
Students from countries whose first language is not English must be able to show competence in the English language by passing one of a range of approved tests.
Applicants for all these programmes should have either:
- a minimum IELTS score of 5.5
OR - a minimum TOEFL score of 527/197/71 for paper/computer/internet
